Valuable Homes to host Kakamega Real Estate Breakfast

Kakamega Real Estate Breakfast is the premier networking platform for stakeholders in the real estate and construction sectors in Western Kenya. Through the breakfast event, the host, Valuable Homes Ltd seeks to bring together the major players and decision makers for a morning full of networking, business Linkages, exploring affordable housing opportunities in the region as well as financing options available for developers and investors to take advantage of.

The event is themed “Leveraging Affordable Housing Opportunities in Western Kenya“. It aims at dissecting the National Government’s agenda as far as bridging the gap between the housing demand vis-a-vis the available supply is concerned. So far, the country is lagging behind by over 75% in meeting that demand according to this survey. When it comes to the Western region, the statistics are dimmer and more needs to be done to open up mortgage opportunities, projecting financing, Intersector linkages and policy developments to realize this Agenda. Hence the need for Kakamega Real Estate Breakfast.

Following engagements with various partnering sponsors, the company has scheduled the breakfast for 10th March 2023 from 8.00AM. The event will hence be on a Friday enabling attendees in Nairobi and far flung towns to explore the rich tourism and cultural diversity over the weekend as well.

Event Structure

The event will feature an hour of short presentations by the guest speakers on matters concerning Affordable Housing, technology and project financing among others. Then there will be a 30 minute break for breakfast and networking followed by a panel discussion by the speakers on government policy and investor engagements. After which the chief guest will finalize the breakfast event with his keynote address at 11.00am.
