Valuable Homes to hold KISUMU REALTORS SUMMIT In June 2024

The inaugural Kisumu Realtors Summit will be held in June 2024 bringing together the key real estate stakeholders in Kisumu, the larger Lake Region Economic Bloc and Kenya at large. Since Kisumu is a very strategic hub in Kenya as an essential link to other East African countries, its real estate sector is uniquely positioned to serve its ever growing needs such as housing and commercial space demand. Furthermore, the associated services in the sector such as interior design, interior decor, paints and cement supplies etc.

The event comes at a time when more and more real estate companies and investors are seeking for investments outside the Nairobi region. As of the end of 2023, notable companies such as Optiven Ltd, Username Investments Ltd, Mhasibu Housing Co-operative Society, Uriithi Housing Cooperative Society, Kenmark Realtors Ltd, Safaricom Investment Co-operative Society among others have had a land project in Kisumu. Interestingly most of the projects have been sold out easily given the huge pool of clients especially in the diaspora looking for opportunities to invest. Definitely with Land being an essential asset class for most Kenyans.
